Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met with Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Shuleiko to discuss the state of bilateral relations and future cooperation prospects, the Georgian government said.

The face-to-face meeting covered a range of topics, including trade and economic collaboration. Officials highlighted Georgia’s role as a safe and stable country, with a predictable and investor-friendly environment, the government press office said on Monday. 

The two sides also stressed the importance of holding the seventh session of the Georgia-Belarus Intergovernmental Economic Commission, which provides a platform for discussing pressing economic issues between the countries.

The discussion included the positive trends in tourism, noting an increase in Belarusian visitors to Georgia.
