Georgian PM arrives in China for official visit

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has arrived in China on a working visit, the Government Administration said on Monday.

Upon arrival at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, Kobakhidze was welcomed by Xie Dong, Vice Mayor of Shanghai.

At the invitation of Li Qiang, Premier of China, Kobakhidze will take part in the opening ceremony of the China International Import Expo, where Georgia is participating as a guest of honour this year, the Administration said.

During his visit to Shanghai, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold a meeting with Qiang.
