Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Edmondo Cirielli on Tuesday discussed bilateral cooperation and Georgia's European integration process.
The Government Administration said the sides highlighted the friendly relations between Georgia and Italy, noting that the partnership is based on shared European interests and values. They also discussed the positive dynamics of cooperation across various sectors and expressed readiness to further deepen both political and trade-economic ties.
The meeting also focused on Georgia's path toward European integration and the importance of Italy's support in that process.
Kobakhidze stated that the Government remains ready for dialogue and for restoring relations with the European Union on the basis of mutual respect, according to the Administration.
