Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, has criticised German authorities for what he described as a failure to update official information about Georgia’s president on a government website.

Speaking to journalists, Kobakhidze said the situation placed the German administration in what he called a “comical position”, arguing that even formal details had not been corrected.

“This does not even require criticism - it is simply comical,” he said.
