Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze welcomed Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Georgia ahead of the UEFA Nations League playoff match between their national teams.

Kobakhidze shared the news on X, expressing his excitement about hosting his Armenian counterpart and attending the game together. “I am delighted to host the Prime Minister of Armenia, H.E. Nikol Pashinyan, in Georgia. I am looking forward to attending the upcoming football match between our national teams, demonstrating our countries’ commitment to promoting sports and people-to-people bonds between our nations,” he wrote.

The Georgian national football team is set to face Armenia in the second leg of their UEFA Nations League playoff match at Dinamo Arena, with kickoff scheduled for 18:00.

In the first leg, Georgia secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Armenia in Yerevan, putting them in a strong position to retain their spot in UEFA Nations League B division. A win in the playoff would secure their place in the league, after which Georgia will play friendly matches in June before entering FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September.
