PM Kobakhidze vows full state support for Patriarch’s treatment

Kobakhidze on Tuesday visited the clinic to receive updates from doctors on the Patriarch’s condition and thanked medical staff for their efforts

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has said the state will do everything possible to ensure continued care for Patriarch Ilia II, who is undergoing treatment at the Caucasus Medical Centre.
Kobakhidze on Tuesday visited the clinic to receive updates from doctors on the Patriarch’s condition and thanked medical staff for their efforts.
“I wish the Patriarch good health. Doctors are fully engaged and doing their utmost to provide proper care. The state will do everything necessary to ensure maximum support for his treatment,” he said.
The Patriarch remains under close medical supervision as intensive care continues.
