Georgian PM meets with Saudi Fund Director to discuss strengthening economic ties

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze held a meeting with Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, during the latter’s working visit to Georgia.
According to the Georgian government’s press office, the two sides discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation and explored opportunities to deepen economic relations between Georgia and Saudi Arabia.
The meeting focused on Georgia’s positive economic growth trends and its investment potential, particularly in sectors such as energy, road infrastructure, ports, and airports.
Al-Marshad is visiting Georgia with a delegation as part of efforts to enhance development partnerships.
The meeting, held at the Government Administration, was also attended by Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili and Chief of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
