Georgian PM discusses defence cooperation, regional security with Armenian Defence Minister

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has held talks with Armenia’s Defence Minister Suren Papikyan, focusing on strengthening bilateral defence cooperation and regional security, his office said on Thursday.
The meeting reviewed the current state of Georgia-Armenia relations, with both sides noting positive dynamics in political and defence cooperation.
Discussions covered collaboration in defence at bilateral, regional and international levels, as well as ongoing and planned joint initiatives. Officials also exchanged views on the evolving regional security environment and its implications for stability.
The Georgian prime minister reiterated Georgia’s readiness to support peace and stability in the region, while both sides underlined the importance of continued cooperation within existing frameworks.
