Incumbent Tbilisi Mayor Kaladze: ‘this country belongs to every citizen of Georgia, no one will be allowed to rule or enslave us’

As part of his election campaign, Georgian Dream’s Tbilisi mayoral candidate Kakha Kaladze met with residents of the Samgori district, where he presented ongoing and future projects for the capital and outlined the party’s action plan.

Kaladze stressed that Georgian Dream was the only political force that felt a “true sense of responsibility and accountability” before voters.

“We all live under constant turbulence and artificially created tensions. What the Georgian Dream has been openly saying for years has now become evident to the world. Believe me, no step will ever be taken against the interests of Georgia and its people.

“This country belongs to us - to every citizen of Georgia - and no one will be allowed to rule or enslave us. Our heroic ancestors fought and shed their blood for independence, not for this nation to be subjugated. It is our duty to protect Georgia’s sovereignty, our identity, faith, and culture. The foundation for this comes from your support and from our unity,” Kaladze told residents.

The meeting was also attended by Georgian Dream’s majoritarian candidates for Samgori district.
