Kaladze: people serving foreign interests will face response from Georgian authorities

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has said Georgia has many people who serve foreign interests and warned that authorities would respond to actions directed against the state.

Kaladze made the comments when asked by journalists about allegations of possible espionage activities involving opposition parties.

“Unfortunately, some representatives of political parties or non-governmental organisations serve foreign forces. This is difficult for the country. Steps taken by specific individuals against the country will inevitably receive a response from the relevant authorities,” Kaladze said.
