The ruling Georgian Dream’s Tbilisi mayoral candidate and current Mayor, Kakha Kaladze, on Wednesday officially opened his election headquarters alongside Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.

In his remarks, Kaladze thanked Tbilisi residents and the ruling team for their support, stressing that unity was essential to overcoming the country’s challenges. He introduced MP Levan Machavariani as the head of the campaign headquarters, saying he bore the responsibility to secure victory in the first round.

Kaladze underlined that Georgian Dream was the only political force capable of ensuring long-term peace in the country, which he described as the foundation for development and prosperity.

“Otherwise it is impossible. We must not allow anyone to use our small, beautiful homeland to pursue their own interests, thereby harming the current situation and the country’s future”, he said.

The opening event was attended by party members, supporters, and representatives from the business, sports, and cultural sectors.
