Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and Serbian Prime Minister Đuro Macut have sent congratulatory messages to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on the occasion of Georgia’s Independence Day.

Plenković said Croatia attached great importance to its relations and productive cooperation with Georgia. He described Georgia as a friendly nation and expressed confidence that bilateral friendship and partnership would continue to deepen for the benefit of both countries and wider regional stability.

Radev highlighted the longstanding historical and cultural ties between Bulgaria and Georgia, saying Sofia valued its constructive cooperation and partnership with Tbilisi. He also underlined the importance of cooperation in trade, regional connectivity between Europe and Asia, and security in the wider Black Sea region.

Macut said Serbia and Georgia continued to develop bilateral cooperation based on mutual respect and understanding across areas of common interest. He noted that the opening of Serbia’s embassy in Tbilisi would further strengthen bilateral ties.

The Serbian prime minister also thanked Georgia for its consistent support for Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, describing Tbilisi’s position as evidence of its commitment to the principles of international law.
