Kremlin says Putin “safe” after “Kyiv’s drone attack”

The Russian government on Wednesday claimed president Vladimir Putin was “safe” following the “Kyiv’s drone attack” on it overnight. 

 

Decrying the alleged attack as a “terrorist act”, Moscow claimed it had disabled the drones before they could strike, reporting “no casualties”. 

 

Speaking to foreign media, Ukrainian officials rejected the allegations, wth Moscow not presenting any evidence so far backing its claims. 

 

Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, with hostilities still in progress on the latter’s territory alone.
