Kyiv is ready to hold a special round of peace talks with Russia in Mariupol, the city which has been fully destroyed by Russian troops, to save its people who still remain there including the fighters who have been defending Mariupol since the beginning of Russian invasion in February.

“Yes. Without any conditions. We are ready to hold a ‘special round of negotiations’ right in Mariupol. One on one. Two on two. To save our guys, Azov, military, civilians, children, the living and the wounded. Everyone. Because they are ours. Because they are in my heart. Forever,” said Mikhaylo Podolyak, an adviser to the Ukrainian President,

Oleksiy Arestovych, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the Ukrainian President, says that there are about 90,000 Russian troops in Ukraine now, while 22,000 of them “are hiding in bushes at the border as they are too scared.”

Kyiv says that the Ukrainian military has killed 20,900 Russian soldiers so far.
