Lavrov: if there is the 3rd World War, it would be devastating nuclear war

Russian FM has told Aljazeera that if there is the third World War, it will be a ‘devastating nuclear war.’ 

 

Russian troops are currently in Ukraine, bombing its cities. 

 

However, due to the resistance of Ukrainians and the international support, Russia has been unable to take control of the country. 

 

The Russian president has ordered the country’s nuclear power to be put on ‘high-alert.’ 

 

The international community has strongly condemned Russia’s move, stating that the world is united against Putin’s regime.
