Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has announced the appointment of Mariam Kvrivishvili as Georgia’s new Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

The announcement was made during a briefing at the Government Administration on Tuesday. Kvrivishvili  previously served as Deputy Minister of Economy. 

She replaces Levan Davitashvili, who has been appointed as the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister on Economic Issues and will also serve as Secretary of the Economic Council.
