Levan Tsuladze quits as artistic director of Marjanishvili Theater – Culture Ministry

Levan Tsuladze has resigned from the position of an artistic director of Marjanishvili Theater, the Georgian Culture Ministry said on Tuesday. 

“On October 2 this year, Tsuladze applied to the Ministry of Culture to resign as the artistic director of the Professional State Drama Theater named after Kote Marjanishvili. The appeal was approved on October 10”, the body said. 

The Ministry noted Tsuladze was appointed to this position for a new, four-year term on March 6, 2022, and that he had led the Marjanishvili theater for 18 years and achieved “many important successes both in the country and abroad”, extending its gratitude to the culture figur
