Tsutskiridze stressed the need to present a new political class committed to values and principles

Levan Tsutskiridze, leader of the Freedom Square movement, on Monday said it is crucial for the public to understand why the ruling party, Georgian Dream, should leave office.

He also stressed the need to present a new political class committed to values and principles.

“People need to see and believe why the Georgian Dream should go. At the same time, we must show that there is a new political class that will uphold values and principles,” Tsutskiridze said.

He added that problems will not be solved without a government accountable to the public. “Until we have leadership that is responsible to society, it will not address public issues but rather serve its own interests,” he said.
