Georgian Foreign Minister meets Chinese special representative at Dubrovnik Forum

As part of the annual Dubrovnik Forum, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with Lu Shaye, the Special Representative of the Chinese Government for European Affairs.
According to Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two sides emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between Georgia and China, highlighting the solid foundation of bilateral relations.
The discussion underscored recent high-level visits, which have contributed to strengthening cooperation between the two countries. Special attention was given to enhancing trade and economic ties, as well as exploring opportunities for deepening collaboration in education, tourism, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.
The Georgian side also emphasized the country’s transit potential and regional cooperation in this regard.
At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed hope that results-oriented cooperation between Georgia and China will continue to develop effectively both bilaterally and on the international stage.
