French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin may advance into Moldova and possibly Romania if he is not stopped, stating that Europe’s security is at risk.

“Russia poses an existential threat to Europe like never before,” Macron said, emphasizing the growing danger from Moscow.

“We have a rearmed and aggressive Russia at our borders. Putin is carrying out terrorist actions and large-scale disinformation campaigns here in Europe,” he added.

Macron stressed that if Putin is not confronted, he will “inevitably to into Moldova and possibly Romania.”

“Our security is in danger,” the French president concluded.
