Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran is ready to end the war with the United States and Israel, but only if its conditions are met.

Pezeshkian stressed that any agreement must include guarantees that aggression against Iran will not be repeated. “The war will end on our terms,” he said, adding that national interests would be protected under all circumstances.

He noted Iran is open to ending hostilities, but decisions would be made with full consideration of the situation and the country’s long-term security needs, including any ceasefire arrangements.

Despite the President’s statements, ultimate authority in Iran rests with the Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, who serves as commander-in-chief and has the final say on matters of war and peace. Pezeshkian, seen as a reformist figure, may signal willingness for negotiations, but key decisions remain with the leadership.

The conflict between Iran and the United States and Israel has now lasted for more than a month, with significant economic repercussions. Global oil markets have been affected, with prices reaching record highs.

The Pentagon has described the situation as entering a decisive phase, while Israel has signalled readiness to continue strikes on Iranian targets for several more weeks, citing sufficient სამხედრო capabilities and targets.
