Georgia's Interior Ministry on Tuesday said 94 foreign nationals have been deported from the country following a series of operations carried out by the Migration Department in coordination with other law enforcement units.
Those removed from the country were citizens of several states, including Turkey, Russia, Turkmenistan, India, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, China, Uzbekistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Jordan, Lebanon, Tajikistan and Uganda.
The ministry said the deportations followed “comprehensive migration enforcement measures” conducted in recent days.
Under Georgian law, the individuals who were deported have also been banned from re-entering the country.
