Georgian President, World Ethnosport Confederation President discuss traditional sports development

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili and Bilal Erdoğan, President of the World Ethnosport Confederation, on Saturday discussed the friendly relations between Georgia and Turkey and the importance of further developing traditional sports.

Erdoğan is visiting Georgia at the invitation of the Ministry of Sports and the Georgian Wrestling Federation. He will attend the ongoing World Wrestling Championship, which the country is hosting for the first time in its history.

The meeting was also attended by Georgia’s Minister of Sports Shalva Gogoladze and the Ambassador of Turkey to Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbay.
