Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili stated that the political reality in the country, as seen from the presidential perspective, differs significantly from the image he previously had as a member of parliament. Speaking on Imedi TV, often labelled as pro-government media, Kavelashvili emphasized the country’s constitutional stability and institutional legitimacy.

"I want to confidently say this — Georgia’s political life is dynamic, unfolding within constitutional boundaries, and governed by a legitimate administration. Institutions are functioning properly and fulfilling their responsibilities effectively," the president said.

He added that Georgia is experiencing continuous political progress, crediting what he called the government’s consistent and strategic approach. "This progress reflects the consistent policies we’ve long pursued. It is essential that our society sees the real picture and not the wave of speculation that continues to surround our country."

Kavelashvili stressed that public trust in the government plays a key role in maintaining national stability. “If it weren’t for the public’s access to information, their confidence, and belief in the government, the situation in Georgia would be very different. I can say with certainty — the process is stable,” he concluded.
