President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili has granted clemency to 37 individuals, according to an official statement from the presidential press service.

The pardoned group includes 29 individuals serving non-custodial sentences and 5 prisoners. Additionally, the criminal records of 3 individuals were expunged.

"The President of Georgia exercised his exclusive constitutional authority based on the principles of humanism and in the interest of the state," the statement reads.

This latest round of pardons underscores the president's continued commitment to justice tempered with compassion.
