President Mikheil Kavelashvili held a farewell meeting with Turkey’s Ambassador to Georgia, Ali Kaan Orbay, at the presidential palace. During the meeting, Kavelashvili thanked the diplomat for his successful tenure and his role in strengthening Georgia-Turkey partnership.

“Georgia values the close friendship and exemplary strategic partnership with Turkey, based on trust, mutual respect, and consideration of each nation’s interests,” the president said. He also wished Ambassador Ali Kaan Orbay success in his future diplomatic assignments, expressing confidence that the new ambassador will continue to advance bilateral relations.
