Over the past day, on March 8, militants in the Donbas fired on the Ukrainian military nine times, breaking the silence.

This is stated in the message of the press center of the JFO headquarters.

"In particular, near the settlement of Luganskoye, the invaders, using a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher, remotely mined the territory with POM-2 mines. And not far from the settlement Vodyanoe, in the Azov region, and the village of Peski, the invaders opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems and small arms." Experienced Russian-occupation troops opened fire from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher and an automatic heavy grenade launcher, and in the suburb of Zolotoye-4 – also from small arms. In the vicinity of the village of Lebedinskoye, the enemy fired at our positions from an anti-tank grenade launcher, "the OOS headquarters said.

Our soldiers returned fire to shelling the enemy. There are no combat losses among the Ukrainian military.

Since the beginning of this day, on March 9, three violations of the ceasefire were recorded in the Donbas.

In particular, near Krasnogorovka, the enemy used an 82-caliber mortar, and near Peskov, militants opened fire from small arms.

The Ukrainian military returned fire to the provocative actions of the enemy.

The OSCE representatives were informed about the facts of ceasefire violation through the Ukrainian side of the JCCC.

"The armed formations of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries continue to systematically ignore the additional measures signed on July 22, 2020 within the framework of the Trilateral Contact Group to strengthen the ceasefire," the JFO headquarters noted.
