Georgian television broadcaster Mtavari Arkhi has announced the suspension of all live programs due to a severe financial crisis, which it attributes to the actions of its co-founder, Zaza Okuashvili. The channel has stated that it no longer has the financial resources to sustain daily operations, leading to the cancellation of multiple live programs.

As a result, the following programs will no longer be broadcast: News programs, Special Broadcasts, Post-Factum, Main on Saturday, Guest of the Day, Different Accents, Main at Night, Your Morning, Your Afternoon, Your Midnight, Literary Triangle, and Main in the World.

”For now, Mtavari Arkhi will air only pre-recorded programs, reruns, series, and films.

We are working to find alternative funding to restore full broadcasting,” the statement reads.

The broadcaster reassured viewers that their support remains the most important factor during this challenging period.
