A court in Tbilisi has found television presenter and founder of the Nanuka’s Fund, Nanuka Zhorzholiani, guilty of an administrative offence and sentenced her to three days in detention.

The ruling was delivered by Judge Davit Makaradze, after which Zhorzholiani was detained in the courtroom.

According to the case materials, the charge related to an incident on 16 December last year in which she was accused of standing on a pavement in violation of administrative regulations.
