Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on the occasion of Georgia’s Independence Day.

In his congratulatory message, Pashinyan said strengthening brotherly relations with Georgia remained one of the main priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy and described bilateral ties as having developed into a practical and institutionalised strategic partnership.

The Armenian prime minister also highlighted the participation of the Georgian delegation, led by Kobakhidze, in the eighth summit of the European Political Community held in Yerevan.

Pashinyan said Armenia highly valued the efforts of the Georgian government and Kobakhidze personally in promoting regional cooperation.

He wished Kobakhidze success in his work and extended wishes of peace and prosperity to Georgia.
