Nikoloz Samkharadze – Very soon the time will come when we peacefully restore the territorial integrity of our country

“Any occupation is temporary. We, the Georgian people, will never accept the occupation and I am sure that the time will come very soon when we peacefully restore the territorial integrity of our country and reconcile the Georgian, Ossetian and Abkhazian communities, because there is simply no alternative” – said Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, who was at the occupation line in the village of Gugutiantkari together with the Speaker of the Parliament and MPs. 

“Today we are in Gugutiantkari and it is a sad illustration of the consequences of the Russian occupation.What is happening in front of us is divided houses, artificially erected barriers to the separation of our societies. Despite the current situation, we are certainly convinced. We, the Georgian people, will never tolerate the occupation and I am sure that the time will come very soon when we will peacefully restore the territorial integrity of our country and reconcile the Georgian, Ossetian and Abkhazian societies, because this There is simply no alternative” – Nikoloz Samkharadze said.
