Out of 537 new cases of coronavirus in Georgia, 290 were detected in Tbilisi and 79 in Imereti

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, out of 537 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 290 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 18, Imereti – 79, Kvemo Kartli – 28, Shida Kartli – 29, Guria – 16, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 23 , Kakheti – 37, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 6, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 3, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 8.

Currently, there are 3,308 active cases of infection, of which: 1,376 people are treated in hospitals, including 711 in Tbilisi hospitals, 141 in Adjara, 247 in Imereti. At this stage, 258 people are seriously ill, including 119 in Tbilisi and 11 in Adjara. 21, in Imereti – 66. There are 85 people on artificial respiration, 55 of them in Tbilisi, 3 in Adjara, 13 in Imereti – 133 people are accommodated in clinical hotels, including 101 in Tbilisi and 30 in Adjara. 1,799 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in their homes.

206 people are placed in quarantine areas, including 93 in Tbilisi and 21 in Adjara.

A total of 23,654 people were transferred from the state border to quarantine areas from October 6 to March 15.

At this stage, 5,150 people are in self-isolation, including 2,478 in Tbilisi, 363 in Adjara and 702 in Imereti.
