Georgian newly elected parliament speaker Shalva Papuashvili has stated that he is ready to get involved in drafting of Ukraine support resolution within Foreign Affairs Committee.

The draft resolution was presented by the For Georgia opposition party a month ago.

The ruling party MPs said that they shared the aspiration of the document but further consultations were required.

“As a parliament speaker I am ready to get involved at any moment, in any format,” Papuashvili said.

About 100,000 Russian troops are currently at the Ukrainian border making threats for an invitation.

The international community is involved to prevent a war.
