Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili’s administration refused to grant  a media accreditation to pro-Russian Alt-Info platform to attend the president’s briefing yesterday at the Orbeliani Palace, the Alt-Info journalist said.

The journalist stated that it was for the second time he was denied entry.

Zourabichvili’s yesterday’s briefing was dedicated to Georgia’s EU membership bid and the country receiving the questionnaire for this.

The Alt-Info platform, which is engaged with spreading of Russian propagandist messages, has recently founded the Conservative Movement which has plans to participate in elections.

In previous years, the founders and members of the platforms had organized rallies against the LGBT community, with one of the rallies last year leaving dozens of journalists injured.

The Conservative Movement members have plans to visit Russia in the near future.
