Head of the Georgian Dream ruling patry Irakli Kobakhidze says that the country will not join international sanctions against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine and  that the decision is irreversible.

Kobakhidze stated today that the United National Movement opposition party is engaged in staging provocations to drag the country into the war and that the party also involved its foreign lobbyists in the “anti-state activity.”

He said that joining sanctions against Russia will affect the interests of the Georgian people.

Kobakhidze once again stated that Georgia is standing by Ukraine in all international platforms and is also actively involved in ensuring humanitarian aid.
