Ukraine updates Russian military losses: over 1.15mln personnel affected since invasion

Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported on Sunday that Russia had lost an estimated 1,158,260 personnel, killed or wounded, since the start of its full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022.

The General Staff said Russian manpower losses increased by 860 over the past day.

According to the update, Russia’s total estimated combat losses in Ukraine from 25 February 2022 to 16 November 2025 include:

  • Tanks: 11,353 (+3)

  • Armoured fighting vehicles: 23,591 (+3)

  • Artillery systems: 34,469 (+26)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,543 (+2)

  • Air defence systems: 1,244 (+0)

  • Aircraft: 428 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 347 (+0)

  • Tactical-level UAVs: 81,286 (+409)

  • Cruise missiles: 3,940 (+0)

  • Speedboats/warships: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 1 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 67,464 (+68)

  • Special equipment: 4,000 (+2)
