Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, lashed out at the UK after British Foreign Secretary David Lammy urged Russia to accept an unconditional ceasefire in Ukraine.

In a post on X, Medvedev mocked the proposal, writing:

“Britain and its minister can shove their idea back up the sh*thole it came from, diplomatically speaking.”

His remarks were a response to Lammy’s recent statement, where he said that Russia should agree to an immediate ceasefire without any preconditions.
