A Russian drone strike hit an ambulance in northeastern Sumy Oblast overnight on April 12, injuring three paramedics despite an Easter ceasefire being in effect, the Sumy Oblast Military Administration reported.
The body added the wounded medics were promptly provided with medical assistance.
“The enemy cynically continues to attack civilian infrastructure. Be as cautious as possible,” the Administration said in a statement.
The Easter ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia was scheduled to last from 4:00 pm on April 11 until the end of April 12.
However, Ukraine’s General Staff reported that Russian forces violated the ceasefire more than 400 times after it came into force.
