Russian FM Lavrov visiting China

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in China, the Guardian reports.

The media outlet says that  the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Lavrov’s plane had landed in the eastern city of Huanshan.

The Guardian says that Lavrov will attend a series of meetings hosted by China. 

Russia had requested support from China in its war with Ukraine, however, Beijing has dismissed the request for the equipment.
