Russian Lukoil chief dies after falling from hospital window

The chairman of Russia’s Lukoil, Ravil Maganov, has died after falling from the hospital window in Moscow, said Russian media on Thursday.

67 years old Maganov fell from the Central Clinical Hospital’s sixth-floor window, where he was receiving treatment.

Maganov was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack and has been taking antidepressant medication, according to reports.

Maganov may have committed suicide due to illness, but this has yet to be confirmed, reported Russian media.

Maganov is the second senior Lukoil executive to die suddenly in recent months.

Alexander Subbotin, former senior manager at Lukoil died in May.
