“No doubt, the current situation could be called the most difficult in three decades for Russia,” said Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin earlier today during his speech at the State Duma, the lower house of the Russian legislature.

Mishustin noted the latest array of Western sanctions imposed on Russia were not used ‘even in the darkest times of the Cold War.’

The Russian PM also claimed the stock market and the national currency of the country were ‘stabilising.’
