Administration of All Muslims of Georgia expresses condolences on death of Patriarch Ilia II

The Administration of All Muslims of Georgia has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia.

The Administration noted that Ilia II’s long-standing service played a significant role in promoting interfaith respect, peace, and social unity. 

They extended condolences to the Georgian Orthodox Church and its faithful for this profound loss.

Ilia II passed away on the evening of March 17 at the age of 93.
