Georgiaxs 5th President Salome Zourabichvili, who is attending the Munich Security Conference, announced on platform X that she met with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot.

According to her statement, they discussed the ongoing protests in Georgia and the necessary steps the European Union should take in response. Zourabichvili emphasized the importance of supporting Georgia’s civil society and free media.

“Had a productive discussion with Minister @jnbarrot regarding the continued protests in Georgia. Discussed additional actions that could be taken at the national and the EU levels. Emphasized the necessity to support Georgia’s civil society and free media,” she wrote.
