Georgian delegation, Quincy Institute discuss US foreign policy, regional security

Members of the Georgian parliamentary delegation met with Anatol Lieven, director of the Quincy Institute, and the institute’s researchers to discuss the new US administration’s foreign policy priorities and key regional security issues.
The meeting covered Washington’s approach to the South Caucasus, developments in the Middle East, and the Russia–Ukraine war, as well as ongoing processes in Georgia and the country’s security challenges.
The parties further discussed prospects for the development of the Middle Corridor and the vision of the new US administration in this direction.
The Georgian parliamentary delegation is headed by Foreign Relations Committee Chair Nikolz Samkharadze.
