Georgian parliamentary delegation holds meetings at European Parliament and Council of Europe

Members of a Georgian parliamentary delegation held meetings with representatives of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe during a visit to Strasbourg, the press office of the Parliament of Georgia said on Thursday.
A key topic of discussion was the potential return of Georgia’s permanent parliamentary delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). During the working meetings, the delegation briefed European counterparts on steps taken by the Georgian authorities and on future plans, the body added.
The discussions also covered European Union–Georgia relations as well as regional challenges related to stability and security.
The delegation’s visit to Strasbourg took place between Tuesday and Thursday.
