Media support rally underway in six cities across Georgia

A media support protest rally is taking place in six cities across Georgia on Sunday.

Journalists and citizens in Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Gori, Zugdidi, and Kvareli are showing solidarity with the media. The participants are condemning violence against journalists and their attacks, expressing their support for the press.

According to the participants, violence against the media represents the greatest weakness.

Over the past few days, several journalists, cameramen, and photojournalists have been injured during the ongoing protests. Many of them were intentionally attacked, physically assaulted, and obstructed in their professional work.
