Georgian Parliament Speaker congratulates Bulgarian National Assembly Speaker on election

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili has congratulated Mihaela Dotsova on her election as Speaker of the Bulgarian National Assembly.

In a statement, Papuashvili said he looked forward to further strengthening co-operation between the legislative bodies of Georgia and Bulgaria.

He added that the historical friendship and cultural closeness between Georgia and Bulgaria have created a strong foundation for the development of closer co-operation between the two countries.
