Soldier founder dead was on leave – Defence Ministry

The Georgian Defence Ministry on Friday confirmed the death of Corporal Irakli Apriamashvili, 41, and stressed he was on leave when found hanging on Thursday in a forest near Akhalsheni village, in proximity to his registered residence in central Gori municipality. 

The body expressed his sorrow over the incident and said the law enforcement were looking into the case.
