Students who occupied the entrance to the exam hall at Tbilisi State University on Wednesday, demanding the release of individuals detained during pro-European rallies in the country, were on Thursday forcibly evicted from the University library building.

Security guards demolished the barricades made by the students with chairs. Among them were representatives of both the TSU security service and the private company Victoria Security. After the barricades were removed, the students resisted the security guards who entered the building, which led to noise and scuffles, but in the end the students were forced to leave the area.

According to the press service, the TSU Academic Council will issue a statement regarding the rest later.
