Two large-scale protest marches are underway in Tbilisi, drawing participants from various sectors of society.

The first march began at Ilia State University’s A building, where students and academic staff initiated a procession. Participants plan to stop at Tbilisi State University (TSU) before joining a rally at Republic Square. The march includes students, professors, and teachers, highlighting their unified call for change.

In a parallel movement, cultural sector representatives gathered near Rustaveli Metro Station. They plan to march to TSU to show solidarity with the students and later join the gathering at Republic Square.

At 9 PM, the protests will converge outside the Georgian Parliament, where participants intend to continue their demonstration overnight.

Earlier in the day, a women’s march took place in Tbilisi. In a symbolic act, participants staged a performance and left suitcases outside ruling party leader Bidzina Ivanishvili’s residence, sending a strong message of dissent.
